The Extension does not transmit any data to external servers. It operates entirely locally on your device.

• We do not collect your IP address.
• We do not track your browsing history.
• We do not analyze the content of the videos or audio you play.

2. Permissions & Usage

The Extension requires specific browser permissions to function:

• "Read and change all your data on the websites you visit" (<all_urls>): This permission is strictly required to detect HTML5 audio/video elements on web pages so the Extension can attach the volume booster node (AudioContext). The Extension only scans for media elements; it does not read page text, passwords, or cookies.
• "Storage": This is used to save your volume preferences and equalizer presets locally on your computer.

3. Third-Party Services

The Extension does not use any third-party analytics (like Google Analytics) or advertising networks.
